Schemus requires Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.5 or better - downloads are available with or without bundled JREs (bundled JREs are version 1.5.0-06).

Once downloaded and installed, Schemus will run indefinitely in a limited feature mode which only allows synchronisation between files.

If your copy of Schemus was supplied by a third-party, please contact them to obtain a licence to activate the full functionality.

Macintosh users please note that the JRE is an integral part of Mac OS X and as such is supplied by Apple. JRE 1.5 first shipped with Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and you may need to upgrade/update your operating system in order to have a suitable JRE if you are currently running an earlier version of Mac OS X.
